Oh boy, this is a big one! For five years of my life I worked on the ZYN team at New Honor Society. Shortly after I started, they sold their millionth can. Shortly before I left they were selling 1,000,000 cans per day. During that time I lead social campaigns, art directed videos shoots, worked on not one but TWO rebrands, help design and organize events, and eventually lead the design team. My proudest work though, is when I lead the effort to create ZYN's very own asset library.
When working on ZYN we ran into a lot of roadblocks. For a couple years we did our best to use stock, or take shots of the product around the office. Eventually, we exhausted almost any usable stock imagery, and shot the product in almost every corner of  St. Louis. So I pitched to my CD that we create our own library of professional video, photography, and motion assets so that we can create professional looking content, at the drop of a hat. Next thing I knew I was putting together a deck and presenting it to the client. They loved it!
My main task with realizing this massive library was to handle the motion and 3D assets. Working alongside our pals at Antidote we created of 50 different models, environments, and animations. These were all eventually used for social campaigns, event graphics, POS.
This hardly captures the wonderful insanity that was those five years on the ZYN team. More than anything my time there taught me that a room full of 5 people can be just as powerful as an an agency full of 500.
